I am currently a student at Brown University '28 studying Public Health and Economics. In my free time I like the create different kinds of art. My work displayed here is a collection of projects for my class Digital 2D Foundations.
Enjoy!

Color as a Medium
The goal of this project was to use color as the primary medium in the creation of two works: one using additive color (a projected image) and another using subtractive color (a large-format print). The two works should begin with identical source materials, created in either a CMYK or RGB color space.
Cutting the Line
The goal of this project was to create a set of conditions by which you derive a series of paths using Illustrator, and realize a physical manifestation of these conditions using the laser cutters in the Brown Design Workshop. In the end the project was laser cut through acrylic.
Steal this Book
The goal of this project was to create a small chapbook or “zine” using precisely none of my own content. My inspiration is drawn from my seamstress friend who creates clothing. She runs a fashion brand named Sankofa. This zine represents themes throughout her recent pieces.
Final Project
The theme of this project was to represent visual perception and how it changes based on spatial orientation and viewer position. One key aspect of this project’s theme is how the identity/face we show can be interpreted in multiple ways and can take unique forms based on where we are looking at it from (one is themselves by combining all of these perspectives together).
